To get highly-paid work in the oilfields, you’ll need a well control BOP ticket. To get your BOP ticket, you need to attend a well control school and pass the drilling exams.

It sounds straightforward, but as many of you know, passing these exams can be very difficult, even if you have been working in the drilling industry for years. 

We have designed a well control BOP exam preparation course.  THIS IS NOT A WELL CONTROL SCHOOL.  This course is designed to be used to dramatically improve your chances of passing the exams at the end of the course through targeted training. 

In this course, you will learn:

• Which areas of the exam are critical.  If you make a mistake in this section of the exam, you will almost certainly fail the entire exam.
• Which areas of the exam are worth the most points.  Some kinds of questions are worth more than others.  Knowing which questions are worth the most points can help you decide where to focus your attention for the best results.
• Which areas of the exam are a waste of time.  Many students fail the exams because they waste a lot of time trying to figure out the solution to one complex problem.  Sometimes, it is better to skip these questions and come back to them at the end (if you have time).  We can tell you which questions are a waste of your focus.
• Which questions come up time and time again.  It is no secret that the tests are looking to check particular areas of knowledge.  However, this means that certain questions tend to be asked in almost every exam in slightly different ways.  By knowing the areas that are covered in every exam, you can target your preparation accordingly.
• How to plan your time in the exam to maximise your chances of getting a passing score.  The worst thing you can do in an exam situation is to fail to compose a strategy.  We can give you the tips that you need to give you a plan of attack for the exams that will guarantee that you make the most of your knowledge to help you pass the exams.
• How to read the questions in the exam so that you know what they want you to say.  Sometimes, you won’t even have to really know the answer to guess the correct response.  We can teach you how to answer those questions that you have no idea about.
• What the exam questions look like.  We will give you plenty of chances to practice with real IWCF/IADC/IAWC exam questions.  We will also explain to you how to get the correct answer if you choose the wrong response.

This is a training program, not a magic pill.  You will still have to put in the effort to learn what we are teaching here.  However, what we can teach you is what to expect, how to prepare and how to pass the well control BOP exams by learning the important stuff instead of trying to learn everything.

The course costs US$500.  Keep in mind that if you fail the exams, it will cost you over double that to take the exam again, and even more if you have to take the well control school course twice.  If you take our course just before you take your well control school course, you will dramatically improve your chances of passing the exams the first time.  And if you fail the exams after taking our course (as well as your well control school course), we will give you your money back.
